| I don't see to many people talking about getting together within these two states to often so I thought I should bring up the topic of starting maybe yearly team up's or special holiday Mission's that could take place in the lower part of Michigan maybe in the General area of Detroit or Jackson. I know of at least two to three active costumed actavists or superheroes who operate in the General area of Michigan and then two to three others who operate in the areas of Ohio. Right now I don't have any ideas as far as general mission ideas ,but I think it would be a nice idea if maybe a few of us from Michigan and Ohio coulf toss around some idea's and see about starting some Team Ups and maybe what we could be doing in relation to the Team up.
I know foxfire is still active as far as I know, there is The Dark Pheonix and another Hero in Jackson ,Blue Lightning somewhere in lower Mi and Dr,Strange or a similar name in the upper part of Michigan. So there is a few people to start off with. |

| Hey Eclipse, I don't know if you're still around, but if you're still watching this at all, at some point i might be interested in doing a team, when i get my uniform squared away. I think there's some other new folks here from Ohio aswell that might be into joining up also. _________________ "Don't be afraid of the dark you're still held up by the stars The light will carry us over The dice have been cast & your position must be steadfast- we are the chosen Let no man pull us under, never deter- there is no contrast You can't always crucify what you don't understand- beware of the vampire & this time you'll see who has the upper hand- the world is a wasteland"

| Night Reaver, Eclipse and my bud Polarman! Nice to see you as usual my friend. I would be willing to get together with you gents as I am based and located in Michigan. Let's discuss this if you're interested. Oh, and Captain Jackson is out of the loop from what I understand. I have had correspondence with him, and frankly he's disillusioned due to the fact of his DUI and Jackson mi residents and the media crucifying him for media ratings, makes me sick, but on the flip side, he professes to have zero "love" for the RLSH folks and attempted to dissuade me from calling myself one and removing myself from affiliation.

| PM, I can certainly try to get him to take a stand. However, I think he has been beaten down by Jackson, and the media evicerating him. |

| Well maybe he should have thought about that before drinking and driving. I'm sorry but I just have no sympathy for anyone who does that, and see nothing wrong with the media calling out someone who claimed to be a "Hero" and then went out and endangered lives. That's all I have to say. |

| I wasnt there so I cant judge him Anyway He made a mistake and as I understand he admitted to that mistake However the media went out to ruin his family too His wife and child didnt do anything wrong they didnt desearve to be hounded out by witch hunting bullies armed with cameras and besides the one mistake he did do alot of good for his community and thats how I remember him He owned up to his crime nobody got hurt or killed Maybe I would see things differently if either I had been there or if someone had gotten hurt but I wasnt there I just saw the headlines when someone told me about it Yes I was shocked that a RLSH could be put down but like someone just told me He is as human as the rest of us and I for one would be glad to lend him a hand to help him raise back up again take the mistake he made and use it to teach others the consequenses of drinking and driving Im sure that if he thought about it he was glad that the police pulled him over before someone got hurt and he realised that if someone had of gotten hurt or killed because he did something stupid it would have been alot worse for him |

| This thing with Captain Jackson is a perfect example of how we are held to higher standards than the normal individual. People expect to hear reports of someone murdering, stealing or driving drunk, to a degree the even expect a certain level of corruption from the police, but comics have taught us that heroes should be incorruptable unless by way of red kryptonite, a symbiotic alien suit, or some other sort of impossible outside force. We need to keep in mind that as heroes we set the example for others, though that's not to say that we're not human, we just need to be carefull of our actions or the media can and will crucify us.

| One of the easiest ways to get around the problem of being held to a higher standard for being a hero is...DON'T CALL YOURSELF A HERO! The title of hero is bestowed, not adopted. If someone calls you a hero, fine, if you call yourself a hero, that's just plain ego. Ego is something that must be set aside in what we do. |

| I get called A hero because The kids here think of me as one The Media called me a Superhero Simply because I wear a mask I used to think of myself as a Crime preventer or crimefighter I still do I think that a hero defines what a person did for the community not just running through burning buildings saving lives and stopping bad guys from commiting crimes but other ways like feeding the homeless helping kids at the playground and such Yes I stand up to bullies that threaten to hurt kids and I often do it with stones bouncing off my chest but Id rather be the ones hit by those stones than see a kid end up hurt or dead I saw an intresting Movie called Hollywoodland and I finally found what made Superman a Hero Not because he could fly or jump through windows but one scene in that movie really struck me when after a live outdoor performance defeating the bad guys a kid about 6 or 7 came up to him with a fully loaded gun and asked him Can I shoot you so I can see the bullets bounce off your chest George Reeves looked at the gun and the kid and said You could shoot me but what if the bullet bounced off my chest and hit one of your friends or your mom and dad? The kid just handed the gun over to him I didnt find out of the parents were charged for anything or how he got his hands on the loaded gun but it was a very touching moment in the film because he had to remain in charcater while dealing with this problem He had no body armor and those bullets were real ones not the blanks that he would usually stand up to So I thought Thats what a real Superman is A real Superhero who was able to tell the kid without getting angry at him how dangerous guns are He even shook the kids hand and gave him a hug too after the kid promised never to touch a real gun again |

| You make a good point Jack Shadow, and to be honest, as one who doesnt even have his costume togethor and hasnt been out on a single patrol yet, i have no business considering myself anything other than one of the regular joes out there going about my business like nothing's wrong with the world. But ultimatly what i'm saying is that if the public considers you a hero, then you should be careful, because it's a long way to fall when the public regards you so highly.

| Does that mean that a movie direcor that brought the mighty gorilla to NYC got too full of himself that when the Gorilla toppled over a part of him died too? |

| I was just simply comparing the movie director from King Kong to the image of the fallen Hero He captured King Kong Who got loose found himself in a very strange world and when he tried to escape the birds that spit stones he fell to his death
Carl Demham Broght the Mighty Kong to the City to be put on display He became a hero by taking an animal out of his natural habitat and bringing him to the big city when Kong broke loose everybody panicked Kong Panicked because he had no clue what was going on around him and why everything was attacking him the People panicked because they just saw a wild animal running loose and did not realise that he was probably more afraid of them then they were of him there for after Kong fell to his death Carl became a fallen hero sort of because alot of people were injured or killed while Kong was on the rampage I can only imagine the lawsuits that followed Carl for the rest of his life because he did not take into consideration that Kong might have been too dangerous to bring into the city Now the media is doing the very same thing with Capt. Jackson Alot of people think thatif he puts his outfit back on again the media will just keep going after him all because of what he did several years ago The media guys can be very full of themselves that they often dont realise that they are hurting others Thats why I dont alway trust them I will never willingly appear in the tabloids I will always look up to C J and is team and will remember them for who they were and so Unless I wake up tomorrow and read a headline screaming about him Commiting Rape or Mass Murderer I will consider him as a Friend |
