As many of you know, I'm a huge fan of SwordKane. And while I don't know him personally, I read this on Krampus' blog and felt compelled to repost it here. If SwordKane, Krampus, or anyone else has an issue with this, I apologize.

First of all, I would like to thank everyone so much for your support in the past months.

I apologize to everyone for not coming out with new videos since August for I have been in bad health for quite sometime.

For those who have not been following me, I was first diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia, a nasty and very painful facial nerve disorder.

Later, in January I found that I was misdiagnosed and actually was suffering from Cervical Spondylosis, with Degenerating Cervical Discs (4 out of 6), Degenerating Arthritis of the Cervical spine with bone spurs and some of these spurs are pressing on my spinal cord causing "Sharp Ghost Pains" on various parts of my body. If these spurs continue to grow it will begin to affect my involuntary body functions. I believe it's called stenosis.


I have been on short term disability since January 2010. But a few days ago I received a phone call that my insurance company had denied my claim, regardless of the fact that my Neurologist told them that I cannot work.

Until this situation is resolved (which could take months) I have absolutely no income.

If anyone out there would like to donate any amount , even if it is $1.00, to help support my family I would thank you so much for this.

Thankfully, I qualified for food stamps and I still have my health insurance through my work. However, when it comes to rent, utilities, etc. and co-pays for prescriptions and doctor visits, I am unable to pay for it.

We should really help him somehow. I hope he wins the battle he is fighting and we should all keep him in our thoughts.

I'll get with Krampus. I know he made a donation yesterday but I was holding off till I passed the hat around to a group of my friends and family for him.

Due to a hectic and wonderfully compelling discussion on Creature Feature, the time flew by and I neglected to mention Sword Kane's plight live. I have been endeavoring to rectify this by posting as one can and encouraging others to help him as much as possible. No matter what one may think of Krampus for spreading the word of his plight, help this man because he needs it.

Why don't we hold a sort of telethon, But only for internet users and try to raise money that way?

I was just about to make this a challenge to my Twitter friends to do one good deed today. Lets see what we can do that way. Its kind of a telethon.

he really does seem to be a decent guy too. I sent my best to him the other day and mentioned this(SwordKane- if you read this, yep I'm one of likely at least a few more than that) "passing of the hat by the community. not only did he send a reply expressing his appreciation.... but it was quicker than most. I sincerely do hope for his well being..... and once again, have to say that he was the one that got me off my @$$ and into action..... I wasn't too sure about everybody else at the time, but I knew I'd do what I could. I also toyed with joining in flaming you guys..... but I came here first. and for the record.... it could very easily have been different. but I came HERE first.

It also stands to be said that this is a circumstance that will last for several months until bureaucracy is worked out. This is a marathon, not a sprint. Sword Kane will require several contributions to keep going the the next few months. Think about the small amount of funds one can afford for the occasional fancy coffee or snack, impulse buys like books or going out to dinner twice, three times a week instead of staying at home or preparing dinners. Such small amounts can aid someone who truly needs it, and Sword Kane is one of our own in the communities. For those not familiar with his wit and efforts, here is a link to his YouTube page.

Hero, villain, vigilante, costumed activist, concerned observer, hero support, these labels do not matter at this time. If people can put aside their differences for a common cause, even temporarily, then it shows to the heart of one's nature that we can come together when it truly matters. But I still won't sing Kumbayah.

these labels never matter...... what it boils down to is a general desire to see this *insert your interpretation of this community* actually does do some good. or having too much time on ones hands. depends on the case. the lines and titles are as relevant to anything as much as ROACH is a threat to anyone except possibly themselves...... or the extremely insecure.

I agree, but I know Krampus enough to know I could get him into a rousing chorus of Kumbaya.

Meanwhile I have had one person write back to me on Twitter so far to let me know they helped and passed it on to their friends. So we will see what happens. As soon as my PayPal is out of the negative I will be sending a personal donation and I think as I get orders I will send 10% of sales to them.

I'll be sending a donation once I manage to get my tax return back; right now things are pretty tight in the Terror household. I'm sure he'd even appreciate a few friendly messages from us as well.
