Awhile back everyone on the 66 batman message board was showing off their beautiful Custom Adam West Batman figures & I noticed nobody has a JLU style Adam West Batman. I love JLU's & have a ton of Custom ones so I decided to put my money where my mouth was.

What he started out as:


Then POW! Adam West!:


A dab of Purple into your Bat-blue & Bat-Grey gets them dead on.

I took the buckle decal from the Bat resources & shrunk it, & bronzed it in photobucket.


I whittled a toothpick down to get the nose bridge & eyebrows!

I baised coated him with crylon white that is made for plastic like lawn furniture (I figured It's probably the same pvc)



The biggets bear was the CAPE! Acylic paint does NOT like Rubber! Which is what the cape was. The blue kept cracking coat after coat. Finally I took my gloss coat to give the blue something to stick to, and then painted blue over it, then took a HAIR DRYER to bake the blue dry really quick, then put ANOTHER coat of gloss over that to seal it! Doing this three times did the trick...but wow!


The only thing I took a liberty with was the eyes. On JLU when a person puts on a hood their pupils magically disapear, I wanted to leave that effect but thought that Adams should be bigger rounder & "Kinder" looking. not so sinister.

There is a guy who looks alot like Adam here in town His Name is Kenn Harper and He would probably tower over you too He own Arctic Ventures and all the workers Look up to him as a leader as well as the fact that he is one of the tallest guys in town as well as one of the richest too

I think so, But i want to experiment with Sculpy & contour putty a little more first. maybe I'll get some tonight?

I looked at JLU's tonight polar & didn't really see one that fit you. I did see a "Navy Seal" line of figures that had one that could be made into you with ease.

I saw a Batman in a black and grey suit once here but the paints are very hard to get and maintain so if you see him in a Black and grey suit just paint the Belt, arms and legs white remove the cape ad paint the torso black and remove the ears

The Batman Mould in the 4th picture where he is all white just paint the mask gloves boots Body and trunks black the arms and legs and the belt are fine the way they are as for the cape leave it white too as I wear it when Im out looking for missing kids who might freeze and I use it to keep them warm

That is so awesome! I think a requirement of being a recognized RLSH should be when you make your own action figure.

Geez now that I think of it I have bought....at least 8 pieces of rev's work. All top flight.

KO just bought a bundle of RLSH JLU's from him as well. One is himself, another is a "Me 2099" that I'm dying to see!

bringing this thread back up is making me want to make another one...Bad.

I already have the RLSH in mind.
