| It's not really a "Graphic Novel"
but I just found this web comic Called "Looking for group"
IT. IS. THE. BOMB. (I read like the whole two or three year run in a day)
and Actually they seem to be making a cartoon for it as we speak but I don't know if it will be online only or what |

| I went to the Comic-Con a few years back (one of the MAJOR perks of living in San Diego,) and I saw the LKG booth; they were previewing the animated episodes then and I thought it was so awesome that they were making the transition.
...and then I hopped on over to the Roosterteeth booth and Geoff was an asshole. |

| anyone else here read Blankets?
too long to translate to a movie-going audience (the book is 600pgs) , but the main character as a young artitst who loses his faith is so incredibly damaged, you dont want to look away.
in the end, i'd say another team up of ellen paige and michael cera would make a great set of lead characters. |

I wouldn't say that 600 pages is too long to adapt to a movie. Heck, Watchmen was about that long, From Hell was about 1300 pages, and let's not even go into actual book literature; all I'm going to say is, they made Lord of the Rings and The Stand into movies, they can make any book, graphic novel or otherwise, into a film. |

| well. the internal struggles of young man to find the balance between his passion and religion, which seem ireconcilable. could it be a GREAT movie? hell yes. between the heavy chick flick type of content, as well as the Tim Burton-esque SFX, it might be really hard to market.
... its a lot drier and more subtle than, say, andy serkis trying to kill elijah wood. i guess that is what i was gunning for. |
