Right so I'm not a big fan of Apple or Steve Jobs - I really like my open source and I feel that the iPhone could be so much more if they let you use it however you wanted (as a storage device for starters). But the annoying thing is that it is incredibly helpful and also helpful I feel for RLSHs.

Here's some stuff that I find helpful/interesting on the iPhone:

Obviously internet connection which allows me to browse the web and find research relating to whatever's going on
The GPS which is incredibly helpful when lost
The quick, easy and good camera
My recording apps
Around me - which is an app that brings up local amenities etc
Sound grenade - which is a distracting noise that can be set to a timer
FTP On The Go - which isn't really RLSH-related but lets me update my website on the move - highly helpful and surprisingly good
RJDJ - a very interesting augmented reality app that integrates outside noise into music, it also amplifies the sound and I'm thinking that an edited version of this could be useful as like... super hearing??
Torch - yes it just turns the screen white, but it's better than most
Hands free - for multistasking
E-mail - For emailing documents to use later
iSpy - This one is interesting, a bit stalky currently, but it allows you to look through countless webcams set up around the world. Potentially this could be retooled into something RLSH related though there'd be moral issues - a bit like the scene in Dark Knight where he uses everyone's phones to create the sonar map of Gotham

And check out just for fun: Photoswap, Sonic, Shazam and Worms

Anyway, with augmented reality aps coming out there are countless uses for this kind of permanent connectivity. I know there are some apps out there that let you remotely control your computer desktop and view your webcam (anyone know the names please?).

So thoughts guys, but also what cool apps do you know about? Both RLSH related and fun? Also does anyone know how to get started programming apps? I have some interesting relevant ideas of my own... Finally: iPad, what do you think??

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!
