| Croquet balls are pretty big. What about pool balls or bocce balls? _________________ "It's not enough to bash in heads. You've got to bash in minds." - Captain Hammer

| I'm still thinking of filling tennis balls with some sand or something to give them a little weight (not all the way filled though) |

They might, but I would be worried about them not locking together because they are so smooth and small. |

| I LOL'D hard at White Skulls thoughts on the exploding bola. As for what types of balls, I think cricket balls would be cool for bola. They are hard, heavy and slightly smaller than baseballs. Tennis balls full of sand could be cool though. |

| I just looked at my bocce ball set today. They are bigger than I remembered. I think that my croquet balls are smaller. _________________ "It's not enough to bash in heads. You've got to bash in minds." - Captain Hammer

| Would lacrosse balls fit the bill? Those things are pretty heavy and around tennis ball size. |

| I will try making one out of golf balls. I will let you guys know how it works out. _________________ The time has come for those who do evil to fear the dark for the sins of their past have come to haunt. | The balls don't have to be overly large, just large enough to provide decent weight. Good sized fishing sinkers would provide adequate weight. Use leather boot laces (pay attention to length) for the lines themselves. Some designs include a loop of leather, or a metal ring, in the center to hold onto with your throwing hand. Practice throwing at a telephone pole first. Practice at different distances on the stationary target at first and then practice throwing while you're moving either horizontally, or towards/away from the target. Getting a willing target to practice on that's moving is dangerous. |

| SS has the right idea. You just have to get the line to entangle the target, the weights don't have to do any damage. The line doesn't have to be very substantial either. The target is going to stumble even if heavy fishing line is used, giving you time to catch up with them and restrain them. _________________ "Dude, it's a block of cheese!"

| So... I should find smaller grenades? GREAT, JUST WHEN I HAD A WORKING PROTOTYPE. I... oh, hey, has anyone seen that minion I sent off to test my prototype, by the way? _________________ | TheWhiteSkull wrote: | | You want terror? Try water aerobics with a skull for a face. | I was thinking about the sinkers and using light weight string to have a bola I could shoot from my slingshot, just for entangling legs, but never got around to doing it. |

| Wouldn't be practical, unless you trained in that weapon for a really long time. A BB gun will do the trick. It'll stagger him long enough for you to close in and beat him with a bicycle. Then you stun him with Michael jackson's glove. |
