GREAT, JUST WHEN I HAD A WORKING PROTOTYPE.
I... oh, hey, has anyone seen that minion I sent off to test my prototype, by the way? |
Yeah he's over there, and there...and there's some over there |

While a bb gun would be easier, there's a few good reasons I would advise against it. First off, many cities have local laws restricting the use or possession of air guns in public. Also, most bb guns are very realistic in appearance; any law enforcement would likely mistake it for a real gun. Criminals, too; the belief, however inaccurate, that a gun-touting vigilanate is roaming the streets could act as extra incentive for an otherwise meek criminal to carry a gun himself. And it would do no good for public image either.
Also, never underestimate the power of Michael Jackson's glove. |

| *sigh* at least when I was with ROACH, the insurance rates were cheaper. These minions don't exactly pay for themselves!
Can I borrow a few sidekicks? I promise I'll have 'em back to you in semi-working order*
*The White Skull in no way guarantees the safety of any sidekick dumb man enough to volunteer for his science experiments. |

| I am starting to carry bolas. You can purchase industral ball bearings, us thin aircraft cable, drill holes into the bolas and crimp on a retention cap, or however you want to attach the weights to the cable. I am making mine compact to fit into my utility belt. |

| I keep telling you Skull, clone, then recycle. they don't go all soft in the head or get any major physical defects until about the seventh generation.
@anybody who carries a bola- practice..... alot. as with anything thrown at a human body, to much force can really cause damage. a local girl was seriously injured a few years ago when somebody threw a 20 oz. bottle with barely anything in it across the high school campus.
as to BB guns....... not a good idea. goes for crossbows, blowguns, slingshots or any other projectile weapon. accidents happen.
I know we have at least one slingshot user, I'll make an exception because he stated "good for distracting" when it was mentioned. |

| Also, so far as I know, it's illegal in most urban areas to discharge any sort of firearm, be it BB or otherwise. I advise looking up your area's laws on such things before deciding to make some sort of spring-loaded contraption to work with your BB gun. |

| Slingshots are good for marking someone if they run away. I use paintballs in mine and if someone is at a distance and I want to mark them to find later, I can do it. I also have a crossbow, but that would never go out with me, its just fun to practice with at the range nearby.
BB guns or paintball guns were never a good idea in my mind. let alone what was said earlier about how much they look like real guns, BBs can hurt and can even pierce skin at close range. Not going to do that to someone. |

| Maybe using a new shape with locking pieces would make a better "ball." |

| Champ, you definitely need a long board or something. It makes a *huge* difference to have an obvious reason for looking weird.
Does anyone know if they make bola guns? (like net guns)
I looked around and couldn't find anything. Probably a silly idea, anyway... |

| A Bola gun has the inherent issue of speed and inertia. Since it has a flatter trajectory, if fired, it might give a hangmans break or crush the trachea if your aim is good. Ive been looking at the sticky guns the military is researching. Fires a sticky slime that adheres the target to the ground. |

| Yeah, that would be kind of more vicious than I was thinking...
I wonder what the laws would be pertaining to that slime... and of course how portable that mechanism would be. |

| Fill a pair of white sock with snow then tie the ends together thats my Polarbola In summer Ive seen them filled with sand and thrown Sometimes they seem to explode if they rip and the dust gets into the person's face There is also a type of puff plant Ive used inside the socks they dont hurt but leaves a stain that is almost impossible to get out of your clothes and your hair Ive only used the bola once that was because the guy was throwing stones at the kids in the park and he needed to be taken down and I just happened to have bought myself a package of brand new socks I had him down on his face kissing the dirt in no time |
