| Thanks DGhost But Blur like everyone else said you just have to go with what you like and something that means some thing to you

| MM-No there was no way I could do that suit unless I had screen printing equipment or a dye sublimation printer. Both of which are out of my financial reach. |

| If your calling yourself "Blur" maybe you should use that metallic prisim matereal that kind of fades to a different color as you look at it from a different angle? Opalized or Pearlized or whatever they call it. |

| Actually you can find some really cool looking spandex out there that have properties to them like chromalusion paint. Where the color changes as you look in different lighting. Problem being is that stuff usually goes for at least $30 a yard on the cheapy end and can go above $50 a yard. A full body suit can be done in 2-2 1/2 yards so you could be looking at about $100 for the materials alone, maybe even more. |

| I have this Holographic spandex that I scored cheap, but it retailed at $29 a yard. I think I have about two yards of it left. LOL |

| That it is, but posted in the wrong thread A very nice design though mate, sort of reminds me of Deadpool or Deathstroke. I think the chromealusion is a very good idea Superhero, though one that's currently out of my budget. Perhaps its best put on the pile for future/alternative uniforms? Because over time i'd certainly like to get a few different uniforms for different occasions. |

| Well, I like Minuteman's design. That one just screams golden age to me and just has a style you don't see much anywhere. Especially among the RLSH community. But you go with what you feel comfortable with.
I've had at least 4 different styled suits over the years and the one I like the best is the one I have now. It's an evolving thing, may take you time to discover your look, but once you do, you'll know it and no one can tell you otherwise. Just follow your heart and go with what you feel will get the job done for you. |

| Just a friendly update on the progress of my uniform people.
I started off by ordering my footwear. Don't worry, I quickly moved away from the running shoes my original design sported and instead opted for a pair of these:
http://www.body-armour-protection.co.uk/buy/511-tactical-xprt-patrol-8-coyote-boots.html
They haven't yet arrived, but I am very excited to receive them. I also purchased some orange and blue fabric paint, and I intend to customise the boots to fit the colour scheme of my overall look. I'll post step-by-step pictures of the process as and when I begin it.
As far as a top I already have a short sleeved blue t-shirt that I will be using, though obviously I needed something a little more so I ordered this under armour:
http://www.golfposer.com/orange-cold-gear-mock-cat-28-subcat-102-product-494
With this under the blue t-shirt I can simply cut a design into the t-shirt instead of painting it on or sewing it on. Plus, there will be plenty room for any armour underneath it all. The material breaths easily but also helps to store heat somewhat in the cold (I've tested this already). I'm considering purchasing the same under armour in blue, just to form some variations of my uniform.
I have ordered a mask from Razor earlier this week, so I'm looking forward to receiving that upon its completion - I hear great things about his work.
Right now I'm in the process of trying to track down a royal blue pair of combat pants/cargo pants. The closest I've come to are some the navy use, though they are a little dark in colour for my taste. The search continues! |
