| I have thought about incorporating bulletproof and other protective gear into my duds, and I was wondering what would be useful, and what would be redundant.
Chest?
Groin and legs?
I will probably try to incorporate a mask/goggle combo, and I was wondering what is good for protection, and what isn't.
I have ordered SAP gloves.
Armguards? Good or bad?
Also, I am wondering for footwear. I will most likely be using wrestling shoes, as they are flexible, quiet, and give great traction.

| look at the Equipment links.
I have all kinds of Level III. Vest, Shoulders, even forearms.
all I really use is the vest, & that's dependant on Area, foot patrol or car, etc.
The debate rages on about wearing Bullet resistant, or Blunt trauma (BMX or Sports gear) armor. |

| I don't like sap gloves, I prefer Icons, they're cooler & still have kevlar knuckles. Saps pretty much end up staying in your pocket til you need them but that's cool.
Groin? Wearing a cup for a length of time sucks. But I guess the alternative is worse. Flip a coin on that one.
Goggles are the most practicl "Mask" out there. Like wearing Safety goggles to work. I should do it more often. protects you from UV, Pepper spray, Airsoft pellets, BB's, everything saftey Goggles are supposed to. Go for it.
Armguards? once again your back too Balistic or blunt trauma. Put some thought in that one.
OR get ballistic armguards, spend a little more & add plates too them! They have pockets for that you know. Mine do anyway. |

| I guess a good thing for you to consider is "Are you going to have pockets or not?"
The stuff you carry goes up or down if you're wearing Cargo pants or tights.
Sorry for multiple answers but stuff just kept hitting me. |

| How much are Icons, and do they still provide punching power?
Also, I will most likely have a spandex suit, and a red leather jacket over it. Kind of like the 90's X Men styles. |

| Then you'l also have Pockets. That's good. No Grabit bags or Fanny packs required. Oh Yeah, you'll bust somebody up with Icons. They're like $50 bucks a pair I think. You'll probably dig the red ones. http://www.revzilla.com/product/icon-pursuit-perforated-gloves?utm_source=Google&utm_medium=base&utm_campaign=Gloves&utm_keyword=icon-pursuit-perforated-gloves# |

| I'm going to be wearing cargo pants, more than likely, so i'll likely have the same issue with things moving about in my pockets. However, I am planning to use the pockets for mainly paper based equipment and other equipment that wont move around too much as I move.
I'm also looking into some form of long jacket for the winter periods and cold nights, who i'll have pockets at my disposal if that goes ahead. |

| I'm not to sure currently on the icons, since the saps were only 20. Also, I thought about a mouthguard for times when I know I'll be brawlin', since the right ones prevent concussions. |

| I dont bother with pockets in my clothes I just use the black utility belt for my things Steel toe boots are not good for kicking in the groin If you wanted to hurt someone there hit the groin with your knee Twice as hard as with your food Too many times Ive had people try to kick me with their foot I either (a) hot the foot with both my legs or (b) grab the foot then when they try to take a swing at me I just lift their foot higher till they loose their balance or if they get really mad I just flip them up and over then let them land on their front once I did a (c) Tricky to do if you are not in the right contidions. Take his boot off and koochy koochy koo on his foot flip him over but throw the boot into the other direction Last time I did that his boot landed on top of a shed. He had to climb up to put his boot back on then he jumped into a pile of snow that turned into a mudhole causing him to loose both of his boots when he finnaly got loose |
