Thanks for the input guys.
@ DD on the nose : I know that the more current immages of tengu show them with the long nose on the red human face but like I said I've always prefered the older bird like images of tengu with crow style heads so I'll probally incorporate a beak into the jaw area of the mask. One of the guys I know makes movie style props and masks so maybe if he can do a really good tengu mask that combines elements of a classic tengu mask with say the mask worn by the immortals in 300 then I might swap for it instead.
@ DD, ! and MR on the lenses : I do have to wear glasses or contacts. I normally wear the contacts and only wear the glasses at home while the contacts are in the cleaning solution. The lenses I've picked out have a slight yellow tint to them and they're more flat like the lenses in glasses. They're made from polycarbonate as spare lenses for interchangeble lense goggles. The main reason for the lenses is to keep anything from getting in my eyes such as thrown dirt, spray paint or mace/pepper spray since I've seen some of the perps around here actually carrying spray paint and mace in addition to the traditional knife or gun.
@ Mr and ! about the color : I like the black and blue the most too but I'm starting lean more towards the blue since as you guys have pointed out it is less likely to draw as much negative attention the black would. Plus it would still look neat with the wings printed/embroidered on the back like DayDreamer suggested. I was actually thinking about putting the wings on there before but wasn't sure but seeing someone else suggest it makes it sound even better. As for the weapons hopefully the cops won't say anything since I've already asked one about the legality of batons, stun guns/air tasers and pepper spray and he said they're all legal to carry. Anyone know what the odds are on a cop not knowing the laws on weapons and giving false info?
