| I think Z and Lucid have found the best solution. Even if you don't ride it, having a skateboard with you gives you all the excuse you need to be wearing armor and a helmet. Mega-Rad's powerbocks would also have that effect. |

| Superhero Id say that you are probably very colorful with the blue red and gold as well as the black The only time I wear a cape is if and when its raining (My cowl will get soaked right through if I don't wear it with the hood up otherwise I don't wear it However the cape is very short along the bottom the sides of it is just long enough to wrap myself in if it turns into a downpour It also covers the utility belt where I have my cell and daytimer |

| Or Orbit Wheels! Yeah, I can't tell you how different it is to have a "pretext." I did one patrol before getting those powerbocks -- without a helmet, and people kept asking me things like "where'd you park your motorcycle?" |

| I'm designing my tactical kit to look as 'super' as possible... with a concealable vest and some costuming skills, it's not all that hard to go from "supersoldier" to "superhero". |

| I go on and on and on about them in the recent thread "POWERBOCKS!!!!" in the gadget lab area. (http://www.therlsh.net/gadget-lab-f12/powerbocks-t3873.htm)
Basically they're running stilts. If you're proficient with them then you can run 25 mph and jump over cars and stuff.
Like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=paNKXHRZu2A
I've had them for five days and been practicing like a fiend, so I can basically just walk normally, stand up on my own, do a very nervous trot, and pretend to do martial arts in them.
My army buddy who's had a set for three weeks (coincidence, seriously) is already doing flips. He can't do flips normally, like without them (nor can I).
Oh, and 4 hours on these is an insane cardio workout. I'm eating like a maniac and drinking tons of water. |

| WOW! Just please make sure you always wear your gear with them. The one time you say "I don't need the helmet" will be the day you land on your head, but WOW! |

| I agree Superhero I see lots of people young and old try to tell me that helmets and protection makes them look stupid yet they ride everything from skateboards to bicycles and rollerblades without any of the proper equipment They make fun of people who wear helmets and such too including myself But Where I work while clearing snow there is also a big risk of falling ice |

| Polarman, you need a laser. Little beyond my tech level right now though.
