I succesfully planned and pulled off my first successful team-up tonight!!! BTW, getting us rlsh to do anything together at the same time in the same place, other than online, is like herding cats!!
So I picked up my compatriot, White Baron and learned that Irishman was coming too!! Super awesome, Ive never met him until now! Now I know why White baron speaks so highly of him! Great guy! On our way to meet the illustrious Mr. Jack I turned down the wrong way on a one-way street and got reminded what a dummie I can be sometimes! Finally we get to the meet-up spot and wait around for Mr. Jack to make his grand appearence... why I chose to do this meet-up during a rare Seattle heatwave?! Cause I just roll like that I guess.. LOL!! Mr. jack finally finds us, now, I know why I need to pay that stupid cellphone bill and get mine reactivated... its a good piece of communication equipment to have! Mr. Jack, of course being the brains of said meetup, actually remembered to bring a case of water to hand out! Most awesome!! I wouldve preplanned this stuff but like I said earlier... getting more than one rlsh to be in the same spot at the same time is like herding cats! Ofcourse, it doesnt help to be broke all the time either and barely keeping your own head above water either!!
Anyways, we toured the Seattle Center, was planning to go up the Space Needle... White Baron has never been up it, but its 20 bucks for a two way trip.... we aint made of money, me and my friends... hell, paying for parking was expensive enough!! So then we decided to drive down to the waterfront and park in some free parking... thnak you Seattle for having free parking on the weekend! We walked the waterfront, passed out some water to some very hot Seattleites and had a good journey... then we went up to Pike Place Market and countinued to find people needing water... again, thanks Mr. Jack for thinking ahead!! Hey, Im trying all this by trial and error... I'll get it right eventually. Irishman had to leave us early and so me, WB, and Mr. Jack continued to patrol.. we still had more water to give out.
Well, finally deciding to head back and call it a night... we ran into BagMonster and had a big impromptue learning and interactive experiance!! Go to BagMonster.com to learn more... I dont wanna go into it all right now... it could take up another blog post!! We were part of a documentary and had a fun time! I hope the Emerald City Avengers represented rlsh proudly... I know the three of us were blown away and had such a high afterwards!! If this doesnt get my Seattle team some good publicity I dont know what will!!!
Well, thanks for letting me report what happened tonight! I have some great pics and will try to share them on this thread... if someone will kindly give me some directions... thanxs!
I also want to note... we NEVER had a bad interaction with the public or law enforcement once tonight, not one!! We were all proud to be glory hounds and have people want to take pictures with us... I will never turn down or get tired of that aspect of rlsh!! It feels like Im a celebrity and people want to know what Im about... when the hell does that ever happen?!?
I was successful in my first planned meetup and patrol with more that just one other rlsh and it was a smashing success!! Mr. Jack is a wonderful guy and I know he will do great work in this community... even if his mask does creep me out sometimes!! Irishman came out from hiding and hes a good guy too... I hope White Baron and I proved that we are serious about what we want to do in Seattle to prove that we need him to want to become more active. that ending with the BagMonster guys though... that was like icing on the cake and made the whole event so worthwhile!
SkyMan reporting in and checking out for now... I swear we walked like 5 miles today!!! I am sore all over and barely able to type this patrol log up but wanted to share the awesomeness with all my friends on here.
