I've haven't been here a while for anyone interested heres why.

So a few weeks ago I got in a tussle... with a car, it wasn't patrol just walking down the street to visit a friend, walked out at the wrong time and got cliped by the cars mirror, guy kept driving, didn't surprise me it's the common response. This is the part that did surprise me, someone else pulled over when they saw me, they drove me to the hospital. Kinda funny in a way, I don't really believe in karma but if I did it was on my side. It was interesting to be in the other position, changed my feelings a bit.

Anyways I'm still recovering, nothing serious, a few cracked ribs, and 2 broken ones, I've only got another few weeks of recovery time left to me. Anyways this is my first access to a computer in a while, so I thought I'd explain why I've been away, did I miss anything interesting?

I also though I about my uniform a bit and have decided to add more protection, I did some draw ups during my "vacation" I'll post then later.

Next time, try not getting hit by a car.

All kidding aside, really glad you're okay and equally glad to hear that someone was kind enough to give you assistance in your time of need.

Glad you saw the humor there. I was kind of nervous that perhaps I was stepping over the line with that joke Smile

Just take it easy and listen to the doctor. I had an ex that didn't when he screwed up his knee. He said that if felt fine. I've known from experience that things can feel fine and not be fully healed so I tried to talk him out of going to the gym and working out. It's been going on 3 years since that injury and it still hasn't fully healed. It probably never will. So just be careful.

Sorry about the car hitting you but that is really good karma though with the other driver stopping for you. Glad to hear your doing good and nothing more major happened. Take your time and heal up. Like Golden Valkyrie said, it takes time to fully recover and I should know. I messed up my left ankle back in '91 and it's still not right. Loss of mobility and flexibility because I did not follow my therapist's instructions. It's fine for the most part, but I can't bend it fully for running.
