I would NOT do a patrol with the glasses; they are merely a placeholder. Some type of goggles will eventually take their place:

Basic, yes. Currently impractical, yes.

A starting point, yes... finally.

Comments/criticisms welcome, so long as I haven't already pointed them out. Wink

Currently, it's a hoodie. Though I like the red-inside-black of this one, I'll probably go with another style.

So would I. These things come together much more quickly with gainful employment...

Suggestion, don't use red font color. Makes your posts hard to read. That being said, I like the mask.

Better? I guess dark red isn't as cool as I thought. Not on a forum, anyway.

Oh, it's pretty terrible, actually. I can see easily indoors, but outside is a nightmare, and I'm not likely to be hero-ing in my house.

I'm going without the glasses until I get goggles that provide a good balance between keeping the eyes hidden, and allowing me to see well... which is sort of a conundrum in this line of work.

But those glasses are bad-asseramic! If they truly do impede vision and that sort of thing... why not change the lenses? The frames are just so cool!!

Lol...I used to own that same mask back 13 years ago, for my first bird-themed costume. I cut eyeholes in mine too. Smile I gave it up, mostly because the hood edges blocked peripheral vision. And it smelled like a Halloween store. Smile

Yeah, I like them a lot. The lenses could be changed out, but the glasses barely stay on. I might be able to goggle-fy them, and change the lenses... but I'm not sure it would be worth the effort. I'd rather have some nice, impact/ballistic-resistant glasses/goggles.

Lenses are plastic... nothing special.

Nightbug, lately wearing smaller glasses directly underneath googles works pretty well for me. It's the option least likely to fog up during activities and nobody can easily snatch away your glasses.

I like the effect of the red lining. Having you considered some sort of bug symbol on your mask similar to how some versions of the Green Hornet have a symbol directly over his mouth? That's probably something you'd want custom done, though, because just sewing a patch onto that area would increase the fogging risk quite a bit.
