Also you can see some of the goggles worn that way look a little "buggy."

And that's not even the buggiest one.

Lol...I used to own that same mask back 13 years ago, for my first bird-themed costume. I cut eyeholes in mine too. Smile I gave it up, mostly because the hood edges blocked peripheral vision. And it smelled like a Halloween store. Smile

Actually, the material is from a Halloween mask, but I separated the material from the mask it was attached to. It's machine-washable, which is nice, and it's not a face-hugging headmask... I just tie it in the back (thus the hoodie). So far, the hood doesn't bother me so much, but peripheral sight is a consideration, as is sound.

Those rule. I think Indigo wears that style, too, but I guess we're not too worried about inter-community style infringement here, are we?

Nightbug, lately wearing smaller glasses directly underneath googles works pretty well for me. It's the option least likely to fog up during activities and nobody can easily snatch away your glasses.

I like the effect of the red lining. Having you considered some sort of bug symbol on your mask similar to how some versions of the Green Hornet have a symbol directly over his mouth? That's probably something you'd want custom done, though, because just sewing a patch onto that area would increase the fogging risk quite a bit.

Whoops, missed this post!

I'm thinking if I do a logo, I'll probably go with the traditional chest location (maybe in the corner) or upper-arm patch style.

If I worried about style infringement I'd be in big trouble. I change up costumes almost as much as the Wasp and there are only so many options out there...

Something similar, yeah.

Personally, I dig the look with the glasses.

Heh, wow, I'm feeling first-time RLSH peer pressure to keep the glasses look!

I'll see what I can do to make them a practical addition.

I am happly accepting donations of new/used additions to this outfit, in particular items like gloves, bracers, or other armor add-ons. I do operate primarily in and around Richmond, after all.

Not the Richmond District of S.F.; Richmond, California. I've heard it said before that "Oakland" is a native phrase meaning "at least we're not in Richmond."

Nice looking glasses, and nice costume from what I can see there as well!

If you are wanting to mimic that look, have you considered using a pair of goggles (Like the swim ones where you have a separate lens for each eye) and modifying them to look like those glasses?
