KO, at the Olympic meetup you had your eye on something similar the EMS teams were using up there to get around. If I recall it was a slightly overgrown ATV like that one, but it had a top.

yeah im pretty sure it was a beefed up golf cart, or a polaris. room for their gear, and one backboard. ok for the crowded festivals like the winter games, but probably not street/highway legal.

the can-am spyder, however, is Very Happy

its like a 1000 cc's, traction control, and even goes in reverse. lots of storage options as well, like hard saddle bags, and the built-in "trunk" on the nose.

and, c'mon. its even in my colors.

Superhero The Lotus car from the James bond movie is an inspiration for the Polarmobile if I ever get around to those driving lessons I keep putting off However The car would transform into a skidoo in winter and spring and fall it would become a hover craft in addition to the submarine

As long as we are doing cars from tv and movies I was wondering if you had a knight Rider car what kind of modifications would you do to it and what would you call it

I get the reference UA, but i don't think a Volt can compete with a Charger

@Min: A ElCamino still makes the best Supermobile for all the reasons I pointed out before. If I was do do it over again I might go that direction.

Still looking for a Dapper Cycle.

In other words, a Hyosung scooter to flit about in.

Otherwise I'd get a nice classic car. If I had the money, I'd pick a Crysler 300 for it's style.

My "supermobile" is a beat-up 1992 honda civic

(my camera's lost so this isn't the actual car- just the same make, model and color. Picture this car + almost 2 decades of abuse, poor maintenance and several minor collisions. Also mine has almost 500k miles on it.)

EDIT: I forgot the most important difference! Mine also has a big on the hood.

@Sparrow:

Hey, one of my Supermobiles is a 1994 Nissan Sentra. If the Vette is a Thouroghbred than the Sentra is a work Horse, It's got 190,000 on it and it occasionally belches grey smoke from where the ring have worn away but it's a trooper. It's patrolled, done missions to orlando many times, Hauled toys & diapers to shelters. It has spraypaint on the front bumper & blown out speakers.

I love that car.
(Not mine either, just a pic)

@Zom: IDK man, sounds like you have the 2.8 Liter MPI engine. it only generated about 130HP from what I've read. Eventually you may want to go up.
