Having finished work at 11pm i headed home and was changed, suited and booted by 23:40, I have not got all of my uniform yet, So i went with an alternate look tonight.
It was all black, so i think i blended in well with the darkness.
This seemed to be proven when i spotted a group of youthes (being aged anything between 15-18), vandalising a local playground.
NOTE: Yes kids in the UK are currently this bad
I honestly thought i would be nervous, but i approached them easly and told them to stop what they where doing and go about their business. One of them attempted to mock my look while the others ignored my warning.
Being in the UK, there was very little i could do to actually stop them as the law stops me from being that much use. So i chose a dark spot to sit and watch, which seemed to work as they did not see me.
I then phoned the police and gave them a running commentry until they arrived.
Needless to say, I didn't actually do that much but it felt good.

I continued on with the patrol until around 01:30am with nothing to report.

But hey, for my first patrol - I think it went pretty well

i suggest you try to put together a team.

@ Master Legend - I am already part of a team, i just wanted to test my self on my own. I am part of a team of three, But i guess i wont always be able to rely on team mates, so i figured i should test my self on my own.

Us Canadians have it easy. Our youth still have a healthy fear of the law (more or less). Hear from the stories some of Calgary's UK expat cops tell, UK youth are a bigger headache than ours. :-)
