I signed up to take a UT concealed carry weapon permit class today. This will allow me to carry a baton under my trench coat on patrol. Since it is the most widely accepted CCP in the US, it should be useful when I travel also.

I think it used to be FL was the only state where you could carry other things than a gun with a CWP. But Templar pointed out to me that isn't true anymore. Check your laws to be sure though.

I'm gonna look into this . I would perfer to wear my baton on my belt ( under my coat ) instead of on my pack straps . It also would give anyone who did this more credibility . Again thanks prof
