The end is nigh.....

Dark Wolf and myself are both very close to the Oregon coast. We have been monitoring the situation all morning long, and we are preparing to leave right now. Any other locals, please send me a message on Facebook if you are interested in going.

If it is bad enough, then we will need a lot of help down there.

Best of luck, A good 30-40 miles inland should be plenty.

As it turns out, nothing has happened as of yet.

This should serve as a reminder to all of us to be prepared for emergencies such as this one. To always have a bag packed, and to be ready to go when we are needed.

Like 5 miles. If that.

All clear here, too, although we're told to "avoid the beach."

Yeah a coupla boats got trashed in the marina. That's about it.

That was a reasonable result.

I knew that tsunami waves aren't an exact science yet. Sometimes they get smaller over distance and sometimes they get bigger, depending on a lot of factors. I'm so glad those got smaller!
