Well, try a bag. Side Bag, backpack, something like that. Large enough to carry something like a hoodie and trousers without too much bulge, small enoguh to be carryable an inconspicous. If that's how it's spelt. I have a similar thing. If you intend to be running/ jumping/freerunning, get a bag with a starp for your leg ( those can be on bags ) or add one to secure it to your leg. As for if you must change in a hurry, use street cltohes like a hoodie and jogging trousers. Something that will let you blend in with a crowd. As for where, somewhere private.

I'm not sure my bag will have enough room in it, since it also contains a first aid kit and food to give out to homeless people. I think really what I'm going to be doing here is handouts first, then worrying about the street crime, I'd much rather some guys waking up with missing teeth than one guy waking up with an empty belly

Hey Gobin Ice to meet you You in Canada or the USA? I doubt that its much colder up here than where alot of you guys down south are and Im sweating as it is with just one layer on What kind of activites are you looking to do? Im involved in snow shoveling full time from October to May I am also well known for children's entertainment Most of my patrols are around playgrounds and parks both day and night It helps to have some fighting skills even if you dont have a black belt in any martial arts From what Ive read You should be able to handle cold weather just as well as I can unless you are overdressing which is a common mistake alot of people make when they come up here for the first time I just put my outfit on at home before I go out I dont bother wearing normal outfits as Im a full time RLSH

I'm in the UK actually, up north. I'm looking to start out with helping the homeless and other charitable activities first so people can get used to seeing me around. I've read quite a bit about what you do Polarman, and it's really cool, since I think shaping the youth of today is a great cause. I do have fighting skills, I just don't plan on using them. After reading feedback from other RLSHs I can see that I've dodged a bullet on the overdressing thing. Nice to meet you too Polarman, and the rest of you guys, it's nice to feel welcome

Yeah, the UK needs more well-known rlsh. Apparenlty there's lots that people don't know about. I would use something reversible or easiily removeable.

Personally, the only real costume piece I have is a mask. I've never patroled in costume though. My mask requires a special adhesive and remover; that way an assailant can't pull it down ove my eyes. or rip it off, (unless they rip m face off, in which case if they're that close I could get them away either via cavilier or a defnsive kick. I may do a full costume patrol someday, but I'd like to do it in the lower forty it in a big city where the police know about RLSH. It may sound weird, but I've always had a weird dream about living out of my van. Think about it; no light bills, no electricity bills, no plumbing bills, the only thing I would have to pay for is gas and food, and even less on that if I get a hybribd. I'd like to get a biycle in the back of the van for traveling around the city, and so the only time I would drive my van would be if I had to, or was going to another part of the country; if you haven't seen already: I ove Jack Keroak. Anyway, what I'd do is get my latex mask, adhesive, and remover, and I'd go to a gas station or something with my backpack, go into the bathroom, glue the mask on, but my streets in my bapack, lock the backpack onto my bike/put it back in the van, (depending on how close it is). And then head out on patrol. Another part of living in a van is if a criminal is tring to track me down it'll be realy hard for him, even if does see the van; I could just drive off to another part of the city/state/country, lol. Anyway, that's my idea for costume changes/living on my own. --204

See this is why my outfit looks like normal clothes. Or just bring a gym duffel with your stuff in it. It's not something like Superman where the suit is under the clothes. It doesn't work that way.

Personally, I blame cell phones for creating this dilemma. there just aren't enough phone booths anymore. I suggest you look for a good hotel revolving door.
