| Even though Captain Ozone mistook me for a man *sigh* I really like his idea of a Nation Wide Green Power Rally on July 31st. Therefore I would REALLY like to try and organize one here in Waterbury, CT! Waterbury is a very big city and has lots of traffic that runs through it. There's a great spot by the mall where the highways converge where we'd get a lot of attention. I could even try to get us press involvement. But I can't do it alone. I would like to see if any other RLSHs would come and join me in CT for this rally? I'm especially looking towards those in NY and NJ. I have yet to organize any RLSH meet ups on my home turf, and I would love to have this be my first small mission. Since it would be in the summer, anyone who came could camp out in my back yard if they want. I'll supply food and drink. I have lots of room, and a fire pit. We could even turn it into a weekend event. The rally would be Sat., so Friday night we could do a patrol and a bonfire, Saturday the rally and then maybe some swimming later in the evening, and Sunday we could do a large scale litter pick up. So who's with me??   |

It doesn't have to be other RLSHs who join you as fellow public demonstrators. It could be friends and family too, or people that you find on Craig's List. Write to your local press or university newspaper and let them know that you're looking for fellow demonstrators for a worthy cause and they might give you a write-up. Chances are they will! Don't give up, my friend. You have a whole six (6) months to round up a small group of demonstrators!
