Red Cross Blood Drive in Athens, Georgia! 3/3/10

The American Red Cross will be having a blood drive on the Campus of Athens Technical College this Wednesday, March 3rd 2010! The blood drive will last from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. For more information, please contact Darrell Brewer at 706-355-5175.

They really should lighten up on the time restrictions; it doesn't take near that long for your body to recover from a blood donation. I usually do double red, too, and that means a double waiting period...

Thanks, ZM! I donate blood whenever possible and I'm going to encourage my fellow adventurers to do so as well. It's a great way to give to the community!

maybe you can get in touch with the Crimson Fist. as for me i did the alex machine over a month ago and when you do that it takes longer to give again.i have high iron and hemoglobin which goes straight to little babys.i'm a+ and they say my two pounds they take out of me saves 9 babys lives.to make it short i saved alot of lives by that alone.time for another porterhouse, you see i have to do it for the kids, where's that baked potatoe.

Any Ideas for the guys who cant give blood? I used to be able to, but new screenings say I cant because of time in Germany (mad cow exposure) Heck it used to be that I was in the Gulf, so I couldnt, that got lifted for about 2 years and now the cows stomp on me lol.

I suggest contacting your local Red Cross office and asking about volunteering. Giving of your time instead of your blood?
