Here's how it's gonna go down...

They fight for a while, and it's epic. Cap has the upper hand for most of the fight, but Bats uses all his sneakiness and smartitude to keep pace. About halfway through Bats disappears and comes back in some sort of huge powered battlesuit, which more than compensates for Cap's stength. He starts doing better, and for a while it even looks like he may win, but then Cap just starts wailing on Bat's armor with his shield, smashing it off peice by peice. Without the battlesuit, Cap starts wiping the floor with Bats, but right before he finishes him off, he stops for some sort of moral reason. He offers Batman a hand up. Bats takes it... then injects Cap with some sort of anti-super soldier serum thingy he whipped up in preperation for the fight, leaving Cap unconcious and temporarily powerless.

I actually pictured all of that happening... I can cope with that mainly because it just sounds like something bats would do at the end of the fight.

Ok, well the writers sided with Cap in the Amalgam Universe. At the beginning, Cap and Batman are in CQB in a sewer and Batman admits to himself that Cap would have won. While Batman is trained to human perfection, he is listed at being able to lift (press) 800 pounds, Cap is listed at 1100. Batman has a wide variety of Martial Arts to draw from, Cap is acrobatic and is a master of what is basically MAC. Cap has one physical advantage though, while Batman has phenomenal endurance, the Super Soldier Serum flushes lactic acid from Caps body, he can go 100% for a full day, Batman would still need a bit of recovery. BUT Cap has only ONE offensive weapon, the Shield. Batman has a few HUNDRED, from Batarangs to grenades to sonics, smoke, etc. Hand to Hand ONLY, I go with Cap. Full on Battle, I d go with Batman

and we all know, there ain't no hand to hand only with Bats

I only saw the Cracked or was it Mad magazine that showed the fights even the Death of Superman comics did not come up here and when I was collecting the Civil War Chronicals that came out last year (up here) they missed a few issues I have to look up the ones they missed or see if I can find a Civil war Book at chapters this summer Anyway the Fight I saw was this

Captain america VS Batman Batman had a hold of cap who then poured Horseradish sauce all over Batman's Head so Batman was so Humiliated that he went and Punched Betty and Veronica in the face and the Stomache making Veronica Puke then he nailed Archie and Jughead both in the sack and gave Moose a wedgie with the back of his Pink Boxers pulled over his head and wrapped around his face

Superman and the Hulk Superman tickled the hulk til the Hulk atarted Giggling like a little girl and casing him to transform back into Banner Then gave him a smash right across the jaws Nuff Said

Wolverine VS Lobo

They were at the Hospital when the Nurse called for the next patient well those 2 got into a fight right there in the waiting room when they both stood there huffing and puffing Wolverine told Lobo "Your dead" which then Lobo replies "No you are" the nurse steps in between the 2 of them pull the cigars out of their mouths and then tells them that they are both dead because 1 there is absolutly no smoking allowed in the Hospital and 2 they had both been warned to quit smoking now they both have cancer and just 2 months to live

There is a special on sale for Bras at Sears Wonder woman grabs one that she likes only to get zapped by lightning she looked up to see Storm was there tossing lightning at her saying that there are wonder woman franchise on both the Wonder Bread and the Wonder Bra but there was no such thing as Stormbread or Stormbras Wonder woman replies that Storm should not complain as she has the franchise on the Storm Drain and Storm Shutters Both Wonder woman and Wonderman share the franchise on the Wonder Bras and bread as well as the Sunday evening special on tv The Wonderful World of Disney

Superboy was delivering newsPapers from the Planet Bugle when Spiderman comes out Now this one was Confusing but it was clone vs clone so thats why they wrote it in as Send In The Clones Spiderman acuuses Superboy of using his Xray vision to peep at MJ while she was in the Shower now Spiderman also comes out wearing bright red underwear with a yellow belt on too and Superman Symbols all over it and Superboy is wearing a black mask that has huge white lens in the eyes

OK...I had to dig out my Marvel Vs DC to see who the winner was...It was bugging me.

Batman won on a technicality.

They were fighting in the sewers when the system flushed out and washed them down the line. Batman RESCUED Cap from drowning and thereby got the win.

Not a real decision, but the contest stated that they had to immobilize their opponent and therefore it counted in the win column.

Checked it myself, Crossfire is right.

They are fighting in the sewer, mention that they could go for days, until one of them drops from fatigue. Then the sewer gets flushed, Batman saves Cap from drowning, hence geeting the win, by technicality, like Crossfire said. And at the end, it's Cap and Batman working together that saves both universes. Point being, they both acknowledged that they were each others equal.

As for the rest,

Superman beat Hulk with a heat blast.

Thor beat Cap. Marvel with a Ferris Wheel

Aquaman beat Namor by dropping a whale on him (he did, seriously)

People keep forgetting Aquaman is almost as strong as Wonder Woman, and therefor up there near Superman

But Namor has the better oufit

Actually Spongebob - I mean Aquaman - doesn't slam the whale into the Submariner he simply TELLS it to bellyflop on him and it does...it was really lame

And the Flash totally PWNS Quicksilver even though Pietro takes a cheap shot and attacks him while he is rescuing someone from a burning truck.

It may not be the comic-verified answer, but my opinion is this...

If Batman knew ahead of time that he'd be fighting Captain America, then I think Batman would win.

Batman's whole modus operandi is to study a foe (frequently a superior foe), identify weaknesses, and then employ custom strategies and gadgets to exploit them.

I can't remember Batman ever losing to an opponent that he has had time to prepare for. (Though with thousands of Batman comics, perhaps I missed one?)

I read this recently, and like someone said, they both agree they could probably fight for days before one of them dropped from fatigue, if this were the case it would probably be caps... If it were fair. Batman would probably just dissapear and hide for a minute while he enjoys a bat sammich from his utility belt. You know he has to have one... Albeit not with real bat meat...

Most of Marvel vs DC is pretty subjective, SOME of it is really how the fights would occur, but some of it is really laughable. Like aquaman vs namor... Honestly, even with how it went, namor should still have been fine. It was just a whale... Namor has smacked around iron man for pete's sake. You think iron man would be down for the count of you dropped a whale on him?

I can just see the fine print on the inside of the iron man suit now. WARNING:This super-suit is not whale proof!

I don't see the point of having these two superheroes fight each other when they're both dead... And even if Batman were still alive, there's no honor in beating up Cap's corpse.

But yeah... Batman definitely.

Captain America is alive again, and no not just as a marvel zombie haha

but yeah he and Nick Fury led the attack on Norman Osbourn's attack of Asgard

We should send this question to the producers of Deadliest Warrior, but I believe that Batman would win. He is a more skilled fighter and has an arsenal of weaponry on his person. Cap has the strength advantage and higher stamina, but Batman wouldn't let the fight go very long. Ergo: Cap tosses his shield and Bats ducks it while tossing a capsule of the Scarecrow's fear toxin at him. Bats fires his grappler with his left hand while kicking at Cap's chin, which looks to Cap to be the size of a Mack Truck, due to the toxin. Cap recovers just in time to see his own shield coming at him at the end of Batman's grappling hook. WHAM!!! Batman does not fight fair against stronger opponents.
