| This poll is intended to ask you all what skills do you either have(even if it means a lot or just a little bit), or are currently studying/learning.
Martial Arts, and/or Hand to hand combat skills are good for everyone in this community to have, yet, I strongly believe that it should not be the only type of training. While there aren't really any rules, that everyone has to have other training, I like to believe that the general consensus around here is that it's strongly recommended to learn other things, too.
Law and Criminology are both strongly recommended for people in this community to learn, while having Private Investigating skills are always very useful. And something like Forensics could also apply to both of those options in this poll, which is one reason why I left this as a multiple choice poll, in addition to the fact that it's possible to have more than one skill anyway.
As for psychology, I believe that one is already obvious and I need not explain.
First Aid, also needs not an explanation here in this poll. But, if you have Lifeguard Training, you can vote this option plus Other, and specify that too.
As for paranormal, this can apply to both abilities or maybe even this being your specialty as in what one of your focuses is, in this line of work. Like with the Oracle Team, for example.
As for the gadgets and technology option, something like this would apply to the members of the Prism Branch, and anyone who is well knowledged in the field of technology. If you use technologies and have a lot of experience with them, but aren't as knowledgeable with the mechanics of them, this wouldn't be a preferrable option for you to select when voting in this poll.
Whether you're bilingual, multilingual, or even if you just know sign language (in addition to English, which from what I know, everyone in this community already knows), if you know another language, vote this option and please specify. (Pig Latin and Binary Code don't count, but if you know Binary Code really well enough and want to vote this option anyway, go ahead)
I put the 'Other' option because there are various other types of knowledge, skills, and experiences that are good to know, and have, and could in some way help make you more effective at what you do when patrolling the streets, or if there's a certain type of knowledge that you're able to share with this community. I'm guessing that mostly if not everyone can vote this option here, but please specify what your other skills are, that is if you wish to share them. |

| I'm studying for my Forensic Psychology degree right now, so while I might not be as well versed as I'd like, I think I have an edge over some. I'm also versed in first aid (insofar as they teach Boy Scouts), and know a thing or two about the paranormal (though my opinions are generally far more conservative than most). Oh, and computers. I'm pretty handy with computers. |

| Dreamer, That's why I added the 'Other' option. Because even if you or anyone has certain skills that are not listed above, odds are that you still have some type of knowledge, skill, or experience that can help you with what you do on the streets, and also perhaps help you with what you might be able to contribute to this community.
Big Simon, I'm sure the Forensic Psychology will prove to be very useful. |

| What I voted:
- Martial Arts. I have some years of various types of martial arts training, that are too long to list here, but to sum up, it's from what I learned from a few different martial arts schools, the Marine Corps, from some videos, and from some people I know.
- Minor knowledge in the law (but soon plan to read more in to) but I feel like I've been picking up knowledge in the field of Criminology rather well.
- Private Investigating, Skip-Tracing, some minor experience in that, which I'm beginning to learn.
- Psychology. I know about people in general, at least somewhat, I've studied their behavioral patterns by statistic and by individuality, which can denote other likely personality traits to go along with it (which, by statistic would be more accurate, but on an individual basis not as much, if that makes sense), and sometimes even using that to predict things that they will say and do. And some knowledge of other types of personality disorders as well.
- First Aid. Very basic knowledge of it, based on what I learned from both military school, and the Marines.
- Paranormal. I have studied in the field of the paranormal a lot more about 7 to 12 years ago, but on and off since then have studied/trained a little bit in that area, here and there.
- Other Languages. Some spanish which I have taken in high school, very little Japanese which I learned from one of my martial arts schools, and very little Arabic at my reserve unit.
- Other. Like I said, really any of you can vote this option, since you all have your own skills, and ways to contribute to this world and to this community differently in ways than many others probably can not.
What I didn't vote:
- Gadgets, Technology. While I use various different types of gadgets, like for example a hearing amplification device, and night vision goggles - so I do know about them some, but, I didn't vote this option in this poll because I'm not as technologically knowledged in the area of it's mechanics and such. |

| Votes are not working for me; I get a white page.
Martial Arts, Hand-to-Hand Combat - Learning, don't mind helping if I can.
Law, Criminology - I'm not a lawyer bt I have an interest in the law.
Private Investigating, Skip-Tracing - Most of my experience was in helping licensed PI's, and working with data brokers.
Psychology - I went to collage for this... First Aid - What are the requirements?
Gadgets, Technology- Oh, I know about this, or at least I like to think I do.
Other Languages (Please specify) I know a little of a lot of languages, and dont see language as a barrier.
Other (Please specify) : What else? |

| My votes:
- Martial Arts and Hand-to-hand Combat
- Law and Criminology
- Private Investigating, Skip-Tracing
- Gadgets, Technology
- Other Languages
- Other: Learned Skills that can come handy.
Didn't vote:
- Psychology: Because for me to vote in this area must mean I would have some study (wich I do in Criminology) but not an Expert. Character judgement does not apply.
- First Aid: Didn't vote, because consider it very basic.
- Paranormal: Don't even know why is thios here. |

| Dark Guardian,
Awesome!
And of course you did mention taking those classes in Criminology and Forensics, even if it was just the one time each. And you also mentioned knowing a little bit of Spanish. |

| I'm a great cook... that falls under "Other" I've not done any training in "Real" martial arts (though I'v always been into Muay Thai) But I've got a nice right hook As for psychology I like to think I'm pretty good at reading people I'm strong and I know where to hit to do the most damage with the least "lasting" effects |

| Martial Arts- I've taken a few classes. I've also been in a few scraps here and there, with mixed results. All in all I'd say I'm competent, but not amazing. I do plan on improving, of course.
Psychology- I've taken a fair number of collage classes in the fields of psychology, sociology and applied ethics.
First aid- Took a basic level EMT course. Failed it, but only by two points; I'd like to think the knowledge gained counts for something though.
Paranormal- My mom was a real serious paranormal investigator; I was trained from a young age to take a rational, scientific approach to even the most outlandish of paranormal claims.
Other languages- decent in ASL, limited vocabulary though so many words I have to spell out. Used to be pretty good at mandarin chinese, but I never found time to practice and so have forgotten most of it.
Anti-votes:
Law, Criminology- Plan on learning, just haven't got around to it yet. Maybe I'll take a course on it next semester.
Private investigating, Skip-tracing- Again, just haven't done it yet. My uncle's a P.I.; maybe he might give me some pointers.
Gadgets, Technology- I interpreted this as having an implied "successful" qualifier; I've done plenty of tinkering around, but making things that actually work is an entierly different story... |

| Martial Arts: I did an orange belt education in Miyama Ryu Jiujitsu Psychology: I completed a course in Psychology, and I'm now doing a course in sociology. First Aid: I can do the basics in regards to that, but I hate the sight of blood. Paranormal: I know when you walk into a room without turning around. I also did a bit of studying on my own. I used to be very heavily into this, but I didn't want to get distracted from my studies. Languages: English...duh :p I don't know ASL, actually. I do know a good bit of Spanish, and some basics in Japanese. _________________ Don't judge my absence of closeness for distaste of you.
