Trek all the way in the poll, but if you added in the first real Sci-Fi alien show, then I would have voted that. Doctor Who is the best and the first, been around since 1963 and still going strong.

I voted for Star Wars, mostly because it was part of a series of formative experiences of my youth. Star Trek, which I also enjoy, didn't come into my life until much later.

I agree.. I *love* that one.

But in the end I still watched a lot more Trek than Wars as a kid.

I am A bigger fan of Startrek For 20 years every time a Starwars movie was addvertised to play at the theater it was always one of the 3 original movieswhen the Phantom Menace first came out I was relived that I was not going to see something that i have already watched a bunch of times with Star trek it was always a new adventure I was dissapointed that Data was Killed in the last Generation Movie because I thought that there was going to be a sequel instead of this go right back to the begining again with the new star trek movie then to make matters worse the redesigned the original Enterprise into a smaller version of the Excelsior class Ships

I picked Trek cause well..... They actually predicted most of the technology we use today. Plus I like the humor and stories more. And there is only one vehicle as cool as the Enterprise and that is a TARDIS.

I like Star Wars, but still know I would pick Doctor Who ahead of all, and Firefly above wars. Sorry.
